Untied the boat and straight into Robert Aickman New Lock, after taking on water we then locked through George Billington Lock with another boat. All the locks on the Upper Avon are named after individuals or groups who helped with the restoration of the river. Reached Evesham where we dropped down on to the Lower Avon Navigation, we decided not to moor there but to carry on a little further to Craycombe Turn.
