Llangollen to St Martin’s Moor

The best day of the year so far, blue skies and sunshine all day. Had a lovely cruise today, made easier on the return by going with the flow. The Llangollen canal surprisingly has quite a strong flow, which we noticed a lot on the outward journey, especially through the tunnels and bridges. We also celebrated Rog’s birthday today, lunch in the Poacher’s Pocket and a bbq later.

Lovely pictures, very jealous. You always come back quicker due to the flow! Where next?

Yes we seem to be flying back. Heading for the Montgomery today. After that we will head for Chester, then onto the anderton boat lift, then the Leeds and Liverpool.
