Another wonderful day, the weather is exceptional for April. Had a gentle cruise to the end of the Montgomery Canal today. It is a beautiful canal and very tranquil, although we did have three locks to get through. Arriving at Maesbury Marsh in time for Sunday lunch in the Navigation.
Looking back at Perry Aqueduct, 7.30 in the morning, bliss.
Green Man (Canal Junction) towing Saturn to Ellesmere Port for the Easter gathering
The former passenger terminal for the packet boat service
Approaching Aston locks
A little narrow in places
Moored at Maesbury Marsh
The Navigation, highly recommended.
